A New Passion Project

Hi there. This is something that is a little different than what you might expect on our website. It’s a new passion project to express emotions through a different creative medium. It was a way to put thoughts, feelings, emotions, and everything from inside the mind out into the world. Instead of a diary or journal, it was encapsulated into song form. Bringing more singing, dancing, and fun into our road trips has been a wonderful and therapeutic experience, and if you find any joy or comfort in these songs we’d be happy to hear all about it.

LMNL (pronounced liminal) is the debut EP from Rief Strickland, exploring the fragile, beautiful spaces that exist right on the threshold of change. Borrowing its name from the concept of a liminal space—the transitional, "in-between" state where you’ve left one condition behind but haven't yet fully entered the next—this collection of songs captures fleeting moments frozen across past, present, and future.

Unpacking the raw complexities of mental health, the heavy ache of grief and loss, and the grounding challenge of learning to live in the moment, the album serves as both a vulnerable emotional outlet and a bridge to the listener. Crafted to meet you exactly where you are, LMNL is an open invitation to connect—a reminder that there is profound comfort to be found even when we are suspended in transition.
