Last year before covid-19 changed how the world lived, we made a little mountain excursion with Kali and Mitch. We stopped into the artsPlace in Canmore, AB for a hands on pottery session. Obviously this just became a great opportunity for some laughs because it turns out pottery is hard! No jokes, we always knew and appreciated the delicacy and technique that went into pottery but it sure is quite the cute experience to do it. Needless to say, the laughs and the experience are all that matter as we ended up getting some adorable shots. Next we moved outside for a couple of wintery scenic shots. Close to Grassi Lakes Trail there was a relatively sheltered wooded area (spoiler alert, it was unbelievably cold and windy!!). We ended the session on the rocky beaches of a frozen lake nestled between some mountains.
