Whatever you do in life, do it with love
You've stumbled across our website along your journey and it is amazing our paths have crossed. Our mission is capturing your authentic moments as they unravel and you are probably just as adventurous as we strive to be. This website is a collection of our work and achievements; our pride and our soul that we want to share with others. You will find out what we are about, and what it means to work together with us. We are Edmonton wedding photographers and Edmonton elopement photographers, but have travelled all across Alberta to places such as Canmore, Banff, Jasper, and Drumheller; across Canada in places such as Vancouver, Victoria, Winnipeg, and around different countries capturing engagements and weddings for lovers like you. For the fun, brave, adventurous and love-filled, for the seekers of smiles and a joyous life, we say come explore with us, friends.

Every time we do an engagement session with our couples we feel like we’ve built a great bond before the wedding. Alicia and Josh are no exception. We ventured off into the mountains with their doggo Gus and we had an absolute blast. Learning about their interests, getting to know their families more, and experiencing all the joys of a wedding with them, we truly feel like we were one of the gang on their wedding.
We had a lot of fun shooting this one in the summer! When we first pulled up, there were a few droplets of rain falling on our windshield, so needless to say we were a little apprehensive that we might get rained out (we have umbrellas with us just in case but depending on how heavy the rainfall, they might prove useless haha!)
Let’s flip tradition on its head for a second, is that ok? Who says you have to get married in the middle of the day, why not at sunset? Who says your flower girls/ring boys can’t just be pretty horses? What if instead of 200+ guests you just had a small handful of guests, and the food you bought was just some of your favourite curated charcuterie board items? These are just some of the wonderful aspects of having a more intimate elopement or micro wedding.
Being true to yourself. We always encourage making the session personal and relatable to who you are as individuals and as a couple. For this session, we captured a little tequila, a little intimacy, and challenged ourselves with some evening light!
We haven’t visited Waterton provincial park and surrounding area since childhood, so when the opportunity presented itself for us to explore the furthest southern reaches of Alberta we couldn’t wait! One thing about Waterton though, holy moly is it ever windy. But holy moly is it ever a sight to behold as well. Waterton is beautiful, a small town nestled on the edge of lake and surrounded by mountains all around. It is the perfect place to have a mini destination elopement while still staying local.
We actually came down to Drumheller twice for this session, the first time we tried there was borderline a tornado-worthy storm ripping through Drumheller. We showed up earlier than the couple just to scout out locations and assess the lighting, etc. Well The weather radar was not showing any hold-up or breaks in the storm, so sadly we ended up rescheduling the session.
How to tell you’ve been together for a while and feel comfortable around each other. You don’t care who sees your love! You’re intimate, you’re laughing, you’re ready to lovingly embarrass each other because you know your partner has a cute laugh or smile. Now for the wine, champagne, beer, whatever! If you’re a consumer of alcohol this is a great way to loosen up and ease session nerves. ..
Last year before covid-19 changed how the world lived, we made a little mountain excursion with Kali and Mitch. We stopped into the artsPlace in Canmore, AB for a hands on pottery session. Obviously this just became a great opportunity for some laughs because it turns out pottery is hard! No jokes, we always knew and appreciated the delicacy and technique that went into pottery but…
Oh my what a year 2020 has been so far, right everyone?! We spent most of this year just being cooped up and photographing appliances and breakfasts just to keep our creative juices flowing. So when the social distancing restrictions were lifted just a tiny …
Here are some of the posing tips given to Nikki and Lane during this session:
Ok now run towards us but like, don’t fall off please
Eyes closed for this one, big teethy smiles!
Nikki look at me while Peter tells some lame dad joke™
Take us back to Spring and Summer please? Edmonton weather forecast today on the radio is calling for a bunch of snow to fall and the temperatures to drop to -25C. Shivers down the spine. We miss those warmer days of camping and being in touch with nature. Check out this intimate “glamping” tent

We are a little embarrassed to admit that we’ve never heard of Writing on Stone Provincial Park prior to this, buuuuuuut live and learn! We can’t wait to venture back south to explore even more of the area! Lots of cool things to talk about this type of elopement style, (finger guns anyone?! They make an appearance later, we promise).
